Remember those great Belleri Porteur bars from France? Of course Belleri is long out of business, but those handlebars are still sought-after. So, Velo-Orange decided to make their own Porteur bars. They are 480mm wide; reach is 140mm. The grip area is about 130mm, and they have about 15mm of rise or drop. The clamp area is 25.4mm. The quality and polishing are very nice. The transition from the grip to the curve on the originals was a bit abrupt; The Velo-Orange version has a gentler transition. The curves on both versions are fuller and, we think, prettier than the somewhat similar Champs Elysées bars used on the old Herse bikes. These bars are available in two tubing diameters, 23.8mm road-sized and 22.2mm mountain bike-sized (clamp area is 25.4mm on both): - 22.2mm diameter (MTB-size) bars accept MTB brake levers and clamp-on shifters. They do not work with bar-end shifters. The only inverse levers that work are Dia Compe levers in the 22.2mm size. - 23.8mm diameter (road-size) bars accept standard inverse brake levers, standard bar end shifters, and 23.8mm city brake levers. In short, anything made for road bars fits. They do not accept MTB levers or shifters.

A layer of gel across the top gives an additional level of relief to the Cite X Gel. It was designed for recreational riders who spend a half-day on the bike or less, ride nearly upright with lots of weight against the saddle, prefer the closest thing to a pillow or have significant lower back pain. A completely seamless, heavily contoured top with a large cutaway will hit and miss in all the right places. Shock-absorbing elastomers molded into the saddle base create the effect of springs without any mechanical devices. They also help eliminate vibrations from the road or surface that ordinarily get transferred straight to the spine. A durable synthetic top with rear graphics is easy to maintain and will look new for years. - Seamless synthetic cover with screen-printed graphics - Center cutaway with rear relief channel reduces contact points with soft tissue areas - Thin gel layer along the top of the saddle provides an additional level of comfort - Length x width: 249mm x 175mm - Weight: 454 grams; 16.0 ounces - Rails: satin steel
$95.95
Our Raven saddle was designed using the latest in vacuum molding technology, allowing for a sleek, seam-free contact surface and clean integration with the saddle's substrate base. The benefit – no chafing, no hot spots. It has a narrow profile with dropped nose shaping in front that helps eliminate pressure and a flat rear that supports your sit bones. We've also achieved the ideal balance of foam padding with an ergonomic relief channel, making it a very comfortable option for those looking to minimize bulk. The Raven is a slightly longer saddle that gives you more fore-aft positioning range on the bike and it comes with a smooth, durable synthetic cover. - Smooth, matte black Dura-tek cover - Pressure relief channel - Drop nose design for comfort - Length x width: 265mm x 150mm - Weight: 275 grams; 9.7 ounces - Rails: Cr-mo
